Alternatively, use overhead irrigation with a coarse spray until saturated. Drain excess; target 70-80% water content (WC). Weigh blocks to verify uniformity (aim for 6,400g saturated weight). For transplant: Insert a rooted cutting/seedling into the top, ensuring roots contact the wool. Irrigation: Use 1-2 pressure-compensated drip emitters (0.3-0.5 gph) per block, placed diagonally 1-1.5" deep.
